Simon has been with American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) for 10 years and is currently the Director of Service Delivery for Australia & Singapore. Prior to this he held various roles at GBT including Operations, Client Relationship Management and Strategic Planning. In Simon’s current role he leads the Service Delivery Team who book the business travel for GBT’s corporate clients. The core focus of his role is to ensure the team have the tools and skill set to do their job effectively and provide an exceptional service experience to take care of the traveller needs. Simon has over 20 years’ experience in the Service Industry. Originally from London, he spent the first half of his career in the UK, leading teams for a long-haul travel specialist within the Leisure Travel Industry. In 2005, he moved to Australia and helped launch the operations centre for Velocity - Virgin Australia’s loyalty program. Simon is a passionate advocate for continuous learning and is a Committee member of TIME (Travel Industry Mentor Experience).
